Training Program Development – Consulted with 250-person environmental firm headquartered in Ohio and serving the Midwest. Assisted in creation of a new business development training program to be delivered by in-house Subject Matter Experts. Developed 12-month program comprising major quarterly training and lunch-and-learn check-ins in between. Reviewed materials as they were developed and made recommendations for improvements and other resources. Facilitated several introductions to external professionals to serve as guest speakers.

New Market Analysis – Led a research effort for architectural and structural engineering practice to analyze five market sectors for potential expansion. Client’s goal was to identify a new focus area that would complement their two existing primary target markets. Researched opportunities in several vertical markets – either totally new to the firm or where they had past experience – and identified market drivers, firm and staff experience, and positive and negative considerations for their leadership team to make informed decisions.

Marketing & Business Development Plan – After facilitating a strategic business development retreat for a 50-person design firm, aggregated ideas and recommendations into a marketing and business development plan to focus on growing the firm’s three business units using lower-cost tactics while creating points of differentiation, enhancing the corporate brand, and increasing name recognition in their target markets.
